The truth is, we didn’t set out to create the Quirkles®. We were trying to find a product to meet our own needs that integrated science and literacy for young learners. We didn’t want the “typical” science text or something so watered down it would bore today’s child silly. When we couldn’t find it; we created it! With Terri’s elementary education/literacy background, Sherry’s work in business and product development, and Jesse’s talent as a illustrator and designer, a partnership was formed! We care a lot about science and literacy education. We have a lot of faith in kids and their love of discovery and learning. If we can get other educators half as excited about science as we are, we will have done our jobs. Getting kids excited about the Quirkles®? That’s a no-brainer.
